PROTECTING AND RESTORING THE NATURAL WORLD AND DEVELOPING A SACRED PARTNERSHIP WITH PLANET EARTH

My artwork is inspired and sustained from the mystical and spiritual dimension that I feel in close contact with trees and the more-than-human world. In nature everything feels alive and sacred to me. Translating these experiences into processes of creative transformation is at the core of my artistic practice. I am interested in a dialog that is inclusive of nature and other dimensions, which are beyond the confined realities based in consumerism, exploitation and sadly the ultimate destruction of the very planet that sustains us. Protecting and restoring the natural world and developing a sustaining and sacred partnership with Planet Earth is a central theme in my work. My sculptures and installations are a medium and channel for my ongoing exploration and process of dialoging and co-creating with nature. To listen to and to create art with the natural world is a passageway for me towards a vision of a humanity that is in a unitary relationship with nature and the cosmos. Sharing my art, ideas and insights with an audience and staying interconnected through collaborative ritual is my contribution to a world in need of healing and renewal.
